Rocks and Ropes Eastside location, the BLOC climbing+fitness, will be hosting a USAC (USA Climbing) sanctioned ABS (American Bouldering Series), Season 14 Youth Youth local and Citizen’s local climbing (bouldering) competition Saturday November 3rd, 2012.
Competitive youth athletes from Arizona will converge on Tucson’s Eastside for a chance to go to Regionals. These climbers must qualify through 2 local level events to qualify for Regional Championships. The top Regional finishers from Arizona, Southern California, Southern Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Western Nebraska and Western Kansas, will be back in Tucson in January for the Division Championship and a chance to go to Nationals!
Competitors will include a number of members from the home team’s roster of 60! Youth competitors will be climbing from on Sat. 11/3 from 10a-1p and Citizen’s will be climbing from 3-6p; full schedule is available here.
