The quintessential dog, Fozzy is fun, affectionate and always appreciative of a good ol’ scratch behind the ears. That hits the spot! Found along the highway in early October, Fozzy was rescued by a kind person passing through town. Now he wants one last car ride to the place he’s always dreamed of finding – home. C'mon. | Meet Ella, a sweet-as-can-be social butterfly who enjoys going for walks, receiving backrubs and learning new obedience skills in the Humane Society’s Canine College program. Despite all of her obvious companion potential, poor Ella has endured a rough start to life. Picked up as a stray by animal control during the peak of summer, Ella came down with the sniffles and was transferred to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona so that she could regain her health and begin the search for a family. Surprisingly, Ella has been waiting since July to find a home but stays positive and occupied in Canine College, where she is learning new skills everyday. Ella absolutely loves racing around the yard, tossing a plush toy in the air and then settling down for a long afternoon nap. If you could give this fun and active girl the care the needs and deserves, please pay wonderful Ella a visit today at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
